I excerpt this article from my number 1 favourite book, titled, Breathe, yoga for teens. The book is wriiten by Mary kaye chryssicas. This is one my favourite part of the book because it talks about running.
Running Wild (pg 84)
...Every chance you get, you should run wild. Run wild through an open meadow, the beach, or a snowy field. (sadly no snow in s'pore) Enjoying the little moments makes life seem simpler. Running in your neighbourhood is also a great way to take in the seasons and become familiar with your community. Live passionately: Get out! Breathe! And remember, you are powerful, fast, explosive! (wink2)
Running feels great because it's wild and free-but start right by making the time to prepare your body and stretch your muscles after running. Strength is beautiful in girls-both mental and physical. ( absolutely agree!!) Take time to take pride in that strength and care for your muscles. stretch them long and lean. There's no stopping you now.
