Last week my besty and i participated in night cycling organised by five mosque. They are Al-Huda mosque, Al-Iman mosque, An-Nur mosque, Assyafaah mosque and Darul Makmur mosque. The anticipated event began after Isyak, we were grouped into teams of A to L. Sadly, my besty and i were not in the same team. I was in team G13 wherelse my besty was in F11(if im not wrong). My facilitators were helpful and amiable and my team were a great bunch of people. I felt strangely exhilarated probably because..
)it reminded me of 4PM night cycling where my besty and i had a blast!(it was gruesome but hell of a fun!!)
)its 3 in the morning and i'm at East Coast Park, miles away from home and loved ones.
)and i barely know anyone.(besides ma besty, of course)
)most of the population are sleeping away and here i am cycling on the almost empty road.
)the chilling wind night felt so good
)the adventurer in me long for pure harmless fun.
)Now..when was the last time i ride a bicycle!?..(tat was a lyke a long tyme ago..haahaa)
)Complete Freedom Y'll.
My favourite part(well..i assume it was everyone favourite part) was the under-tunnel slope at East Coast Park. That was insane!! I was practically the first one shouting(maybe shrieking) 'WHOAAAaa'. Then the rest of the team joined in and basically there was a huge amount of noises and plenty of unreasonable screaming.(lol) However, we were supposed to reach ECP around 5:30am but end up super fast at 3am+. We had nothing much to do so we hang out at the Macdonald(we were kind of depressin' at tat tyme) or just watched the breathtaking scene of the beach. I seriously think that early morning is the perfect time to observe the beach because the sky looks like its being born again and the water sort of sparker. Basically, the beach was in its stunning state! Now..have anyone pray subuh on the sand near the water? That was just out of the world experience!! Most of the guys took wuduk from the seawater eventhough the washroom was only a minute walk. Anyway,it made me felt so small but blessed just by standing beside one of Allah greatest creation;the vast endless sea. To top it all, there were games, breakfast(finally!!),group photo, giving out of certificates and of course farewells. There were free buses bringing us back to Tampiness, yishun, jurong and woodland. Weirdly, everyone dozed off during the long bus trip except for me. To summarize, the night cycling was fun but not tiring enough.(give me a few more kilometers and i'll be damn satisfied) haahaa.
