Yesterday, late at night, I was going through my bookshelf when I got hold of a book called 366 & more nature stories. The book is thick and heavy which my father bought for me during my primary school days. The book still look good after many years. No tore pages, no fading colors and the words are readable. Its is a beautiful children book about nature, animal and season and it remained me of my wonderful childhood days. Flipping through the pages, I found not one but two short stories about crabs.(actually there’s 3 but I lyke the 2 stories da most). My horoscope is cancer and its symbol is crab. I always though that crab was a weak and boring sea creature but I was wrong after I read the stories. Now my perspective of crab has changed. Read below and you will understand why.
7 July
Title:A painful encounter in the sand.
A crab is moving about its territory:damp sand dunes shaped by the wind, and peaceful, little pools of salt water. Then there are the algae spread along the shoreline, and lots of shells scattered all around. Away in the distance, the sea is sighing.
The crab advances, quite fast, using its five pairs of claws: the outermost ones, the largest, look like lager pliers.Nothing can resist this mighty weapon. The crab uses these claws mostly for feeding. With them it catches fish, worms and mollusc's of every type. Lined with sharp, needle-like points, nothing could be better then these, for gripping, crushing and opening!
All those who live on the edge of the sea must be warned. Beware of the crab! The same warning goes for the big toes of those bare feet which are moving about on the sand. They risk being grabbed by those claws, and that means a nasty pain for their unlucky owner!
….
11 July
Title:The crab’s crooked walk.
“What a strange way of walking,” says a mussel, watching a thick-shelled crab clumsily moving off on its daily hunting expedition.
“It’s not strange,” puts in another mussel. “Yes,the crab has crooked walk, but that’s just how it is. What’s wrong with that? Crabs don’t know how to walk straight, but still they get about everywhere. Look at us, my dear, we’re always stuck in the same place. I wish we could get about like our neighbour over there!”

Last week my besty and i participated in night cycling organised by five mosque. They are Al-Huda mosque, Al-Iman mosque, An-Nur mosque, Assyafaah mosque and Darul Makmur mosque. The anticipated event began after Isyak, we were grouped into teams of A to L. Sadly, my besty and i were not in the same team. I was in team G13 wherelse my besty was in F11(if im not wrong). My facilitators were helpful and amiable and my team were a great bunch of people. I felt strangely exhilarated probably because..
1)it reminded me of 4PM night cycling where my besty and i had a blast!(it was gruesome but hell of a fun!!)
2)its 3 in the morning and i'm at East Coast Park, miles away from home and loved ones.
3)and i barely know anyone.(besides ma besty, of course)
4)most of the population are sleeping away and here i am cycling on the almost empty road.
5)the chilling wind night felt so good
6)the adventurer in me long for pure harmless fun.
7)Now..when was the last time i ride a bicycle!?..(tat was a lyke a long tyme ago..haahaa)
8)Complete Freedom Y'll.
My favourite part(well..i assume it was everyone favourite part) was the under-tunnel slope at East Coast Park. That was insane!! I was practically the first one shouting(maybe shrieking) 'WHOAAAaa'. Then the rest of the team joined in and basically there was a huge amount of noises and plenty of unreasonable screaming.(lol) However, we were supposed to reach ECP around 5:30am but end up super fast at 3am+. We had nothing much to do so we hang out at the Macdonald(we were kind of depressin' at tat tyme) or just watched the breathtaking scene of the beach. I seriously think that early morning is the perfect time to observe the beach because the sky looks like its being born again and the water sort of sparker. Basically, the beach was in its stunning state! Now..have anyone pray subuh on the sand near the water? That was just out of the world experience!! Most of the guys took wuduk from the seawater eventhough the washroom was only a minute walk. Anyway,it made me felt so small but blessed just by standing beside one of Allah greatest creation;the vast endless sea. To top it all, there were games, breakfast(finally!!),group photo, giving out of certificates and of course farewells. There were free buses bringing us back to Tampiness, yishun, jurong and woodland. Weirdly, everyone dozed off during the long bus trip except for me. To summarize, the night cycling was fun but not tiring enough.(give me a few more kilometers and i'll be damn satisfied) haahaa.

Hey there! I wanted to shared with you guys regarding my top four favourite products. The first one goes to Za deep cleansing oil($13+). Before i go about the cleanser,I've using Za product for 2 years now and i am most likely won't be changing to any other brand. Za is suitable for sensitive skin like me who is a victim of eczema. So,this really works for me. Back to the cleanser, I've tried Facial cleansing foam, Essential liquid wash and then this. I decided to purchase this as it is in a form of oil instead of the usual cream(think foam!). Deep cleansing oil contained virgin olive oil which i heard a lot of Hollywood actress used it as it is good for the skin. No doubt, i had to get a bottle for myself! So, i tried it and true enough, my face feels fantastic. Lastly, i would not recommend this for those who has oily skin.
Have you heard of deodorant in a form of stick? Well, the second product goes to Lady speed stick invisible($4.2) and i'm hooked on this one. Available in 6 different scent and i'm using Orchard Blossom. Mine smells like green apple! Lady speed stick is in solid form and does not leave white stain on clothes like liquid deodorant does. From the name itself, girls that are working out(lyke me!)or in some kind of sports will find this very handy as it has hours of protection against odour and wetness. Awesome stuff there!
The next item is from Paris..Bourjois new so delicate lipcream($25). It comes in 6 matte shades and i'm using 55 fuchsia delicat. I'm not using any rich red here, just a safe deep red for my tan face. Lipcream goin' high tech since this lipcream has a powdery feel result on the lips. Its unlike any other lipcream i had ever tried before. Preety nice! One thing i had to point out was the fragrance. I mean its really an overwhelming kind of perfume smell. I find it quite disturbing. That was the only turnoff. It was almost perfect though.
Last but not least is Anna Sui dolly girl on the beach($65+). It's an old perfume from Anna Sui herself. She came out with new ones but i've been eyeing on this one for a long time already. It smells like orange citrus..very refreshing, fruity and light. I sprayed five times and yet it does not smell anything too rich or heavy. I think that if there's anything i should smell like, this should be it. The bottle itself is super chic and has a vintage feel to it. It has a mannequin head and it's blue in color which is my favourite color. The end.

Let's talk about lipstick. A makeup item i can't live without. Its fast and oh-so- easy to apply unlike mascara, eyeliner or foundation. I just smeared them on ma lip and off i go. For your infor, before my lurve for lipstick begin, i owned several tubes of lipbalm and lipgloss. Some brand worth mentioning are The body shop mint stick(very dewy n has cooling sensation..leave ma lip soft)..Blistex lip infusion moisture splash(has a clear..thick..glassy finish to lips)..Blistex lip toner(it smells wierd but i lyke the pinkish natural tone)..Lipice color(very glittery..and it gets all over ma face).. When it comes to lipstick, i like it to be matte. No shine..no glitter..no gloss..just strong..loud color. I like the fact that it looks very natural and beautiful. At the moment i'm addicted to Za Ever staying Lip Color Pk405 and L.A girl 6 color luscious lip palette in LP1 Delicious.(yummy!)(luk rite picture) Za lipstick is long-wearing and has a creamy texture.(i bring it everwhre i go!) and for L.A. girl lipstick..it is fun..fun..fun. There are six different tones to choose from or you could just mix them together.(talk bout creativity!..lols) It ranges from nude(beach girl) to earthy(scream bohemian!) to deep red(to all the dramatic queen out thre!!) All im left to say is...Long live lipstick!!
